MARTIN COUNTY — A Wednesday crash that partially blocked Pratt Whitney Road about three miles north of the Palm Beach County line injured two people, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and Martin County Fire Rescue.
The crash involved a large flatbed truck with a boom on it and a car, said Kevin Herndon, division chief of operations with Martin County Fire Rescue.
Firefighters were called at 11:27 a.m. to the crash.
Pratt Whitney Road was partially blocked as a medical helicopter landed, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
Herndon said a person in the car was flown to a trauma center, while a person in the truck was less seriously injured.
Both of those injured were the drivers, Herndon said.
