SEYMOUR >> Part of Route 313 was closed for hours early Friday after a tree fell down into some power lines.
Route 313, which is also known as Rimmon Road, was approximately between Clinton Road in Seymour and the Woodbridge town line.
The road was shut down at about 5:20 a.m. after the tree and wires came down into the roadway, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The agency reported at about 8:25 a.m. that the road had been reopened.
