Police log: UPS driver blocked in and threatened for speeding – NRToday.com

Tuesday

Douglas County sheriff

12:56 a.m. — Two or more females screaming at each other in the 700 block of East Fourth Avenue, Riddle.

3:17 a.m. — Caller and a friend both won money while playing video poker in the 800 block of John Long Road, Yoncalla. The owners paid the caller, but told the friend he would have to wait until opening to collect the $800 in winnings.

7:04 a.m. — Neighbor’s two dogs are fighting and blood is everywhere in the 1100 block of Umpqua Highway 99, Drain.

9:19 a.m. — UPS driver delivering package when a man blocked the truck with his vehicle and threatened the UPS driver about speeding in the 400 block of Blossom Creek Road, Winston. Man said next time he sees the UPS truck speeding he would block the truck in again and then said “he doesn’t know would happen.”

2:04 p.m. — Unattended death reported in the 100 block of Karuk Lane, Roseburg.

2:41 p.m. — Dog tied up across from the Old Sportsman when the owner goes into the bar in the 200 block of Main Street, Riddle.

3:01 p.m. — Unattended death reported in the 3600 block of Garden Valley Road, Roseburg.

9:43 p.m. — Caller complained of noise in the 3700 block of Carnes Road, Roseburg. Caller could not specify what kind of noise, just that there was a lot of it.

10:02 p.m. — Son’s 12-year-old friend doesn’t want to go back home because his mother has a history of physical abuse in Roseburg.

11:11 p.m. — Red light that lights up the entire ridge behind the dump has been seen about 5-6 times Tuesday in the 300 block of Myrtle Creek Transfer Road, Myrtle Creek.

ARRESTS

Tuesday

Douglas County sheriff

Mona Guillen Padilla, 22, of Medford, on suspicion of heroin possession and second-degree failure to appear.

Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team

Rodolfo Demetrio Loera, 26, of Roseburg, on suspicion of third-degree theft, failure to appear on a criminal citation and second-degree fail to appear.

Roseburg police

Jeried Christopher Wiliker, 28, of Roseburg, on suspicion of second-degree disorderly conduct, and two counts of second-degree failure to appear.
