#Ophelia: Almost 40 Kildare Roads Blocked, Or Shut. – Kfm Radio

37 routes in Kildare have been impacted by fallen trees, fallen debris, or electricity cables:

Several trees are blocking the road between Punchestown and Beggars End

Fallen cables have been reported in the vicinity of the Eagle Hill B& B in Suncroft.

Up to 60 cattle are loose on the Mondello Road

A fallen tree is blocking the road at the Canal Bank, in Ardclough

A tree is blocking the Newbridge to Athgarvan Road just after The Gables

The local Naas/Rathangan Rd is fully blocked at Blacktrench due to a fallen tree.

There’s a fallen tree on the Maynooth/Leixlip Rd near the entrance to Carton House.

There is a fallen tree on the Rockfied Rd in Athy, near St Vincent’s Hospital.

The road from Landenstown to Hatters Cross and Downings to Prosperous is blocked by fallen trees.

There is a tree down on The Straffan to Kill Road at Ballyhaise.

The Newbridge to Rathangan road closed because of a fallen tree.

Ellistown to Rathangan Road is closed

Kilmeague Road is closed at Ellison House Pub

Blackberry Lane in Newbridge is closed

Red Lane Newbridge/Naas is closed

The Ballymore to Lemonstown Road

Main road in Eadestown is closed just before the church.
