Motorists are urged to avoid a major Stoke-on-Trent road this evening after a two-vehicle smash.
The accident happened jsut after 6.30pm on the A53 Leek Road in Endon, near to Endon High School at the junction of Kent Drive.
Emergency services are at the scene and the road is partially blocked.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to the RTC at 18.37 and one adult female was released by firefighters and has been attended to by the ambulance service. Crews from Hanley and Sandyford attended.”
