An angry Lincoln motorist who was left blocked in by a badly parked car decided to dish out a punishment of their own.
The driver was unable move their car on Saturday, January 13, after another motorist parked badly in Sincil Bank while the streets were full of cars before Lincoln City kicked off against Notts County.
Keen to teach the culprit a lesson they wouldn’t forget, the victim taped a bright yellow note to the offending vehicle – but it wasn’t like any ordinary parking ticket.
The note read: “Congratulations. You win the S*** PARKING AWARD first prize. You win the new book – ‘How not park like a complete t***’.”
Ricky Moore, 29, spotted the prank ticket and praised the actions of the victim.

He said: “The car was parked outside a house on my street.
“I think it is wrong to park blocking people in when there is plenty of parking on the common.
“There are white lines painted there to stop people parking as well a dropped curb.
“The parking around Scorer Street is a nightmare as well as the noise on busy match days.”

And while Mr Moore admits he did see the humour in it, he hopes bad parkers are properly dealt with in the future.
“I do find it funny, but the language was very adult for the time of day it was put there – still you should not park like that,” he added.
“We need wardens down here that can fine drivers who can’t abide by the law.
