The A38 eastbound at Menheniot, Cornwall was partially blocked after a two-car collision.
One of the cars reportedly ended up colliding with the central reservation.
The crash happened at about 3.15pm near the B3251. Police and ambulance were both called to the scene.
A spokeswoman for the South Western Ambulance Service said one passenger had an arm injury, and a second person had suspected concussion.
“Both have been taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth for further checks,” she added.
